CRECE 2019
Collective creation for the Festival CIRC&CO in Avila & Madrid (Spain). CRECE is a project launched in 2008 by the Carampa school which brings together about fifteen FEDEC' school graduates for 3 weeks of residency and original ans collective creation. The 2019 edition of CRECE laboratory (Creating Circus Exchange) organized by Carampa each year in Madrid took place in August and September 2019.
Nine graduating students and recent graduates from a variety of FEDEC schools (Codarts – Rotterdam, ESAC – Brussels, Carampa – Madrid, Le Lido – Toulouse) spent 3 weeks in Madrid creating and presenting a full length piece together under the artistic direction of Michelle Man. After two weeks of intensive work, the show was presented on an outdoor stage as part of the festival Circ&Co, in the beautiful walled city of Avila one weekend, and in the magnificent Teatro Circo Price building in the center of Madrid the following weekend.
